Rahn Land specializes in the valuation and appraisal of rural lands in Montana. This includes primarily ranches, farms, and recreational ownerships.
The range of appraisal assignment types performed by Rahn Land includes estate planning and settlement, acquisitions, marketing, land investment analysis, conservation easements, financing, loan servicing, and a variety of other valuation assignment types. All appraisals completed by Rahn Land are in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the accepted standard for professional appraisal practice in the United States.
Specialized valuation experience includes the appraisal of conservation easements, partial or fraction interests, and compliant Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions, otherwise known as “Yellow Book” appraisals. Clients include private land owners, accountants, attorneys, banks, investment firms, conservation organizations, and county, state, and federal agencies.
In addition to being a Montana Certified General Appraiser, Andrew Rahn is an Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) through the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA). The ASFMRA is the national preeminent professional society for appraisers who work on real properties in rural settings. Designated members meet stringent standards that substantially exceed all state and federal licensing requirements. Andrew is one of only twenty-four ARA's active in Montana.
