Rahn Land is pleased to have been selected to provide the appraisals for an innovative new project that is designed to allow the Yellowstone River to flow more freely. The project will create channel mitigation easements that incentivize landowners along the river not to riprap the banks which prevents the river from moving. The appraisals will be new and unique relative to standard easement appraisals, and Rahn Land will be part of developing the model for future property easements. The first property is located south of Sidney, so Andy will be heading to Eastern Montana next week for the field work.
